Do I need a developer to apply fixes?
Only for the one-time install, and often not even then. WordPress sites install a plugin, sites behind Cloudflare add a Worker, and other sites add a few lines of PHP or Node. After that, fixes go live from the dashboard.
Does Acentics replace Semrush or Ahrefs?
Not for backlink research or keyword volume data: Acentics has neither. It replaces the audit-and-fix part of the job, and adds AI visibility checks, AI crawler tracking and uptime monitoring.
Which AI engines can it check?
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. You connect an API key for each engine you want to check. Checks run on that key, so you pay the provider directly and there's no prompt quota.
Can a fix break my site?
Fixes change tags in the page, not your code or content files, and every applied fix can be reverted to exactly what it replaced. If the installer can't reach Acentics, your pages are served as they are.
How is a fix's impact measured?
On the page's own Search Console numbers: clicks and impressions per day in the four weeks before the fix, against the weeks after, skipping the first few days while search engines reindex the page. Seasonality and other changes move those numbers too, so read it as evidence, not proof.
