Terms of Service

1.About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and M&J Astrexa Private Limited (“Acentics”, “we”, “us”), which runs Acentics. They apply when you create an account, use the dashboard, install an Acentics installer on a site, or otherwise use the service.

If you accept them for a company or other organisation, you confirm you're allowed to, and “you” means that organisation. Our Privacy Policy and Refund and cancellation policy are part of these terms.

2.Who can use Acentics

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Acentics is built for business and professional use: website owners, marketers, developers and agencies. You can't use it if the law, including sanctions law, forbids you from doing so.

3.Your account and workspace

• Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The workspace owner controls the workspace: who is invited, what each person can see and do, the plan, and whether the workspace is deleted. Owners and admins are responsible for the people they invite.
• Tell us straight away at support@acentics.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4.Sites you add

Only add sites you own or have permission to manage. If you're an agency, you confirm your client has agreed. Before Acentics crawls a site or serves changes on it, you prove control of it with a DNS record or a homepage meta tag.

Our crawler identifies itself as AcenticsBot and follows your robots.txt. Uptime checks, crawls and performance tests send requests to your site; you're responsible for making sure your hosting allows them. Don't use Acentics to crawl, monitor or test sites you have no right to.

5.Changes on your live site

Acentics changes nothing on your site until you add an installer (a WordPress plugin, a Cloudflare Worker, or a few lines of PHP, Node or Next.js). Fixes then go live when someone in your workspace approves them, or on their own only for the kinds of fix you've chosen to auto-apply. Every applied fix is logged and can be reverted.

You're responsible for reviewing what you approve, and for the installer while it runs on your site. Search engines and AI assistants decide for themselves what they rank, show and cite, so we can't promise any ranking, traffic, revenue or mention in an AI answer.

6.AI features

Some fixes are written by an AI model. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your site, so read each one before you apply it. You're responsible for what you publish.

AI visibility checks run on API keys you connect for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity. Your use of those keys is governed by your own agreement with each provider, and you pay their charges. The answers come from those providers, not from us.

7.Other services

Acentics works with services run by other companies, such as Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Razorpay, WordPress, Cloudflare and AI providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We aren't responsible for their availability, or for changes they make that affect what Acentics can do.

8.Plans, prices and payment

• The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are paid in advance, for a month or a year, through Razorpay.
• Prices are shown in US dollars, and in Indian rupees for customers in India. Taxes such as GST are added where the law requires and shown at checkout.
• Plans never renew or charge by themselves. When a paid period ends without renewal, the workspace moves to the Free plan and keeps its data.
• Each plan has limits, such as sites, users, pages per crawl and fixes per run, which are shown on our pricing.
• A price change never affects a period you've already paid for.

9.Refunds and cancellation

A new plan can be refunded in full within 7 days of paying on monthly billing, or 14 days on yearly billing. Renewals are generally not refundable, except for billing errors, and a signed Enterprise agreement follows its own refund terms. 10.Acceptable use

You must not use Acentics to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, trademark and privacy;
• publish content through fixes, redirects or llms.txt that is deceptive, defamatory, hateful, or malicious;
• access, crawl or change sites, accounts or data you have no right to;
• probe, attack or overload Acentics or anyone else's systems. If you find a security problem in Acentics, report it to us instead (see Safety);
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it, or resell access without our written agreement;
• get around plan limits, for example by opening several Free workspaces to act as one.

11.Your content and data

You own your sites, your content, and the data you bring into Acentics, including your Search Console and Bing data. You give us permission to store, process, show and transmit it only as needed to run Acentics for you, and to keep it secure.

How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, we do so as your processor and only on your instructions; email support@acentics.com if you need a data processing agreement.

12.Our software

Acentics, its software, design, documentation and brand belong to us. While you have an account, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it under these terms. You may install the installers we provide on your own sites and adjust them for those sites. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

13.Availability and changes

We work to keep Acentics running and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we sometimes need maintenance. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove a major paid feature during a period you've paid for, you can ask for a refund of the unused part.

14.Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using Acentics at any time, and the workspace owner can delete the workspace from Settings.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people or our systems at risk, or that we must act on by law. When we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account through no fault of yours, we refund the unused part of your plan.

15.Disclaimer

Apart from what these terms promise, Acentics is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don't give other warranties, such as that the service suits a particular purpose or that reports and AI output are complete or correct.

16.Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic or data. Our total liability for all claims about Acentics is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else the law doesn't allow a contract to limit.

17.Your responsibility for claims

If someone makes a claim against us because of a site you added without permission, content you published through Acentics, or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

18.Governing law and disputes

Indian law governs these terms. If there's a dispute, email us first: we'll try to resolve it with you within 30 days. If we can't, the courts that have jurisdiction over our registered office in India decide it.

If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and may bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow.

19.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a significant change, we email workspace owners at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Acentics after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can stop and ask for a refund of the unused part of your plan.

20.General

These terms, with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement between us about Acentics. If a part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You can't transfer your account without our agreement; we may transfer these terms to a company that takes over Acentics, and we'll tell you if we do. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. We send notices to your account email.
